The scope of E-commerce in a Medical sector include  adopting strategies accordingly to attract Customers by providing all Health and Hospital related products. This arrangement has been commonly used for B2C-type transactions and here the EDI transactions have typically been used for B2B transactions. E-commerce will probably affect the way the orders are processed and it will probably affect what will be ordered. Both in the U.S. and worldwide, e-commerce in health care is becoming more important and vital to managing cost and providing service and information to patients all over the world.
